Shipping

Our handling time is one business day after payment clears. Handling time is separate from the carrier's estimated delivery time.

Shipping varies by product and destination. Eligible items include free standard shipping; other items have buyer-paid shipping calculated for the delivery address and package. Expedited services may cost extra. The available services and final shipping charge are shown at checkout before payment.

Eligible laptops ship free by USPS Ground Advantage to the contiguous 48 United States and Washington, DC. Free laptop shipping does not include Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international destinations.

Free shipping on one item does not waive shipping charges on other items in a mixed order. Some items have destination restrictions, including Alaska, Hawaii, territories, military addresses, or PO boxes. We currently ship website orders to supported US addresses; international delivery and local pickup are not currently offered.

Returns & refunds

The return terms shown on each product apply to that item. Most items offer a 30-day money-back return period from delivery. For voluntary returns, the buyer pays return shipping unless the product states that TekPartsDepot pays it. Products marked with free returns have seller-paid return shipping.

Items marked “No voluntary returns” do not qualify for change-of-mind returns. This does not limit your rights if goods are faulty, misdescribed, or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.

To request a return, contact us with your order number, item, and reason. For damage or a fault, include a description and photos when available. Obtain return instructions before shipping the item back. Keep the item’s serial number, included contents and packaging available so we can identify and review the return.

Refunds are reviewed after the return is received and inspected. Where the item is faulty or misdescribed, applicable legal rights and remedies take precedence over voluntary-return conditions.

Condition & warranty

Read the product’s condition, testing notes, specifications and included contents. “Tested” describes the testing stated for that item; it does not by itself specify an additional fixed warranty period.

Please confirm compatibility with your equipment before ordering. Contact us if you need help identifying the correct part. Keep serial-number labels intact so the item can be identified when reviewing a return or warranty request.

Any additional written seller warranty must be expressly stated for the product. Manufacturer warranty coverage is item-specific and must be confirmed; it is not assumed for pre-owned parts. A 30-day return period is not a separate fixed-term warranty.

“As-Is” and “For Parts” identify the disclosed condition and known limitations. These labels, return periods and listing notes do not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law provides.

For Maryland consumer-goods sales, implied warranty rights cannot generally be excluded by a seller’s “as-is” or “no warranty” wording. Nothing in these policies limits those rights.

Sales tax

TekPartsDepot is based in Maryland. Taxable Maryland orders are generally subject to Maryland’s 6% sales tax. Tax for other destinations depends on applicable collection requirements and exemptions. Any applicable tax is shown separately at checkout before payment.
